For men: From the Male Sexual Screening Addiction Test (G-SAST) by Patrick Carnes PhD and Robert Weiss

1. Has your involvement with pornography, phone sex, Internet sex, become greater than your intimate contacts with romantic partners?

2. Do you keep the extent or nature of your sexual activities hidden from your friends and/ or partners? (not related to sexual orientation)

3. Do you look forward to events with friends or family being over so that you can go out to have sex?

4. Do you visit sexual bath houses, sex clubs and/ or video bookstores as a regular part of your sexual activity?

5. Do you believe that anonymous or casual sex has kept you from having more long term intimate relantionships or from reaching other personal goals?

For women: Some sample questions from the Women's Sexual Addiction Screening Test (W-SAST) by Dr Patrick Carnes, PhD and Sharon O'Hara, MA

1. Were you sexually abuse as a child or adolescent?

2. Do you regularly purchase romance novels or sexually explicit magazines?

3. Have you stayed in romantic relationships after they become emotionally or physically abusive?

4. Do you often find yourself preoccupied with sexual thoughts or romantic day dreams?

5. Do you feel that your sexual behaviour is abnormal?

6. Does your spouse (or significant other) ever worry or complain about your sexual behaviour?

7. Do you have trouble stopping your sexual behaviour when you know it is inappropriate?

The ans for 1 to 4 is YES ....and 5 is NO.....SO AM I addicted to SEX ???
BTW ....why women get to ans to 7 questions n men oni 5 hur....talk abt equality...... :rolleyes:
