Re-enactments in Crimewatch
 

Hi bros,
I juz noticed something when watching TV last nite. There was this snapshots of the coming Crimewatch on Friday nite. They advertised it with a woman running along a corridor, later falling down. The molester or rapist was sort of semi-naked but the eyes and private parts were mosaic. I din know that it was suppose to be Crimewatch at the start of the snapshot. I thought it is a new serial or movie with a sex scene in it. I mean these days, Crimewatch has made a bit 'more interesting' and 'tempting' for people to watch. In the last few series of Crimewatch, there are a few cases rape and molest. There was one case of Internet guy meeting Internet ger... the guy try to be touchy and the ger run... later they try to show the guy stepping over a stalk of flower... I dunno if you all bros saw that

I feel Crimewatch might be using the theme of sex to attract viewers to watch the show. It is often heavily publicised when they have sex cases. Dunno if you all agree

Sorry bros and sistas for making u all confused. I am just amazed how a serious show like Crimewatch should be actually makes use of the theme of sex to attract audience.

The guy was eventually sentence to 3 years imprisonment and 8 strokes of the cane.. but he is really funny to use his tee as a mask and stripping to his knee.. innovative.. and one scene showing him molesting the woman on the 9 floor and he run down the stair to the 8 floor, run faster then his victim and run up back to the 9 floor at the other corner and flash to his victim again ..

3 years for flashing and molesting someone is quite 'light' in Singapore sense... Some crimes like rioting and robbery gives a more heavier sentence... If u all bros and sistas remember a case in Ang Mo Kio in the 1990s... The serial burglar cum rapist preyed on gers who are alone at home...he broke into HDB flats and raped the victims while they were asleep. he got 34 years sentence and 24 strokes.. and he done several more cases (abt 25 burglaries and dunno how many gers he raped)... It is somehow uneven in the way these 2 cases are measured...

Anyway stay tuned for the 'exciting' episode of Crimewatch tonight...

He could be a first timer that got into trouble with the law and no bad records, moreover he is only molesting..actually i think 3 years + 8 strokes quite heavy liow...

the serial burglar cum rapist got higher sentence due to more charges , burglaries and rape are of a more serious offence so eventually get higher sentence..
