Hi guys Jessie here. I need you guys here to help me to solve my dad hospital bills. My dad now at GH need to have a major operation togather with a long treament, so I got no choice and need to be here asking for you guys for help.

This is my 1st time in fl, I hope those senior bros here can give me a help and advice (really need a sincere help and advice, pls do not play out with me, pls...ok and I really need help) i'll willing to do any things to please you sincere guys here if you can pay me a good price. (but no raw and unreasonable request).

I only can do it after 9pm to 12pm cos after my work, I need to visit my dad. (hope u guys understand) and if u can arrange at chinatown area is better for me cos is near GH then I can save cab fee.

I really hope I can quick this fl within 2-3 months. And hope after this period u guys pls be gentle do not call or contact me again cos I got bf. (He din know I will doing fl) Thank you.

Sorry to hear about your father. Hope he will get better. I believe the hospitals should be open to negotiations when it comes to paying bills. Perhaps you can apply to pay it back via installments or apply for MediFund?

Please try not to be a fl. I know times are tough but you may end up regretting doing this, esp after you had cleared off the debt. Since you are currently working, ever tried to borrow money from EzyCash. You can borrow money from a post office if the amount is not too big. I believe there is agency out there other then ah long is able to help you with this temporary financial need.

Indeed. I believe some banks are able to provide loans up to 3x your monthly salary.

Hosptials do hv financial assistance schemes too. Check with the hospital finance dept for advice. Children medisave can also be used. Also, insurance scheme like medishield can also be used.

I believe that there is financial aid available if u try to find out.
Or u can go thru your MP.
Try not to go into FL, it may hunt u in future.

Anyway being a FL is not easy, cause you dont know "who" or "what" you may end up with. There are other way beside being a FL, like what been mentioned aove. Hope you may solve your problem soon. God Bless your Dad hope he had a speedy recover. :)

But really lar , if u have not stepped into this FL scene, then try not to. Unless u are aldy, like u know, tried doing b4 or wat , otherwise , its not so good for ur mind n body. Tink of other solutions lah, i oso owe my dad's hospital bills for so many years until now he passed away aldy i still haven't paid up ! Government hospitals will still take care of ur dad's health first , they won't leave him alone regardless u are rich or poor lor.

Hmm... threadstarter seems very knowledgeable about the dos and donts of FL. Anyway this is a serious lesson to all to buy medical insurance which costs onli one bonk $200 yearly. Jessie hope ur dad recovers. GL

Yup, i agree.

Your only 20 years old, don't just because of a moment's urgent and you may regret in future.

Been an FL once is not something u can just forgot about it.. next time when your married and walking down the road with you husband what happens if you met a ex customer? :)

Kudos to everyone who posted before me. Yes, I fully agree with what has been said.

Threadstarter, do think (not twice, but a lot of times) before you venture into something that you are likely to regret for the rest of your life. You already said we will like your looks, so don't create a mark that you will never be able to get rid off.

Hope that other samsters who read this thread will give threadstarter the right encouragement.
