income lies

hi bros and sis,

I'm confuse whether should i hide the truth from my partner or partner-to-be.

I'm in the commodity trade with a fairly good pay. and i am afraid she might be interest in $$. or she might just want to live off me.

i cannot accept ppl to depend on me financially. i expect the other party to fork out too.

i had already been lying.. am i selfish? or i actually not willing to give all of me?

damn... my "stingyness" had already cost me a relationship.

not sure how i should go around for my next approach.

Any tips ?

How long have u been in this relationship or going into a new relationship? Since u mentioned "partner to be"?

It would be gd to tell ur other half ur income if there is nothing to hide. Another words "be truthful". I believe u would want ur other half to be truthful to u too. Or it can be a way to test her whether is she together with u for ur $$? Or maybe u can say u earn this much but in fact u are earning more. If she is meant to be urs, she will accept d fact on how much u earn.

It is gd that both are working n not dependant on each other on living. In any case of misfortune might happen, another can support d family n d impact wont be as bad :)

Frankly speaking, girls dun like guys to be stingy.
It is gd to be thrifty but not stingy

TS, your case is you provide so maybe you married FT then she will listen to all your wants and provide with all your needs and you no need to tell her how much you earn... Most FT are good wives and obey the husbands... and also provide good sex, that's the sentiments amongst SG men!

live by yourself, don't get involve, then no need be cheated, pay for another person or need to hide income

it is hard to calculate and can never calculate... count until the cows come home... getting married best, if husband earn lesser than the wife and wife has to pay for everything how?!

Edit:
to PPGirl: but unfortunately lols yes there are too many stingy guys around... and you are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! women do not like men stingy. :D

TS, i don't know whether are you going out with a local or FT.. how old is the lady? it really all depends.. when you go out on a date with her, will she aim on luxury products and expensive meals? it is alright to splurge a bit on the girl you like/love.. but if you are matured enough, you should know what your partner really wants..

Last time i did not disclose my full salary to my gf.. but now my full salary is deposited into my wife account.. = )

put it this way. If you are certain that this girl will be the one you gonna spend your life with, at the end of the day you still got to reveal your true income.

Why not you just let her know your earning power and if she is really a $$$ face woman, time will tell. If she is not and you lied to her about it, she will think that you view her as a $$ face woman and she will be disappointed in you. In long term, you will lose your rs too.

Morale of the story, time to be stingy then go for it. Otherwise just change slowly, you wanna keep so much money for what? Afraid that the garment will not return you your CPF and you have to use your saving?? In the next second you have no idea what will happen. This money cannot be brought to the next world bro.

thanks for quick replies.

the last rs blown off over $$..

it's a line stretch so thinly between thrifty and stingy. and usually depends on who doesn't want to spend as being thrifty and seen as stingy.

i think in rs i cannot control the amount of feelings being pour in, but at least can control the $$? so i dont lose all even it comes a day we part our ways... getting defensive here for myself... am i branded selfish?

$$ lost can earn back. But once feelings are lost, u will never get it back again.

Bro, why the need to disclose or lie about your income?

Unless if she's gonna be married to u, then that's a different story.
To be your partner for life, only right that u take care of her.
She gonna take care of u too n bear your children!

It's good to be thrifty, but not too over.
When on dates, do spend some for a nice enjoyable evening together.

Those that u feel r with u due to $, faster drop them like a bad habit.
The one that truly loves u, will stick with u, whether u have $ or not.
Appreciate her and do splurge on her!

Good luck bro :)

Want to be stingy , don't get a Partner in life ...

stay single and spend only on yourself .

Hold a stash of cash on your left hand and PCC with your right , vice versa if you are left handed .

After you cum , look at the stash and say to yourself ...heng ah my money still here !

:D

I feel you bro, I also have similar thoughts.
But i think its because i dun love the ger enough. Last time got one ger i dun mind spending more on her. But maybe after i got dump then i realise no need to go all out.

Like u say its a thin line btw thrifty and stingy.
"Whats wrong with eating at food court? Do we always have to go to restaurant to eat?" "Why everytime the ger choose to go restaurant n guy have to pay?"
Maybe i feel r/s shld be fair... if i suggest go restaurant, i pay ok lah. But if ger suggest go restaurant. Maybe they shld pay right?

Nothing wrong eating at food court. Once awhile indulge in gd foods.

Like me, once a while i treat my bf small treats, buy grocery/ household items for him... i know its small things n nothing compared to those treats he has spent on me. Even if i want to pay for his share but he insisted to pay. Why?
I think this is what a bf can do for his love one.

If u are calculative or 斤斤计较 in a relationship n so care abt urself. Its better off single. U can spend all ur money on urself. Dun have to worry u are d one keep paying.
