What sort of tablet are you using? I can chat using my iPad.

hmm..i am using samsung and didnt have a problem with it..
can you try this.
disable the multi window option in the settings and see if it works. :)

did changing the multi window setting work?
doesnt really matter it is tab 3 or 4.
