Can a person be charged if he gets AIDS when he is serving NS??
 

Like the subject says...can he?? Will go DB?? There might be some trouble if you got it when you are on overseas exercise...

but what if you have never been to any overseas exercise and you got it here locally...or overseas....

Any brothers here have any experience??

my advice to you. keep yourself "clean" during NS. or you'll be inviting unnecessary trouble.

Your body belongs to the nation when you are in NS. You spoil it, you pay for it.

Anyway all these things are very subjective...what if you got it by accident?? Like blood transfusion...or I dunno...sharing a razor with your buddy and stuff like that...

Anyway if you go DB is count by years or days??

no lah.....no DB lah.....dun think until SAF so inhuman......they will discharge the person instead......scare he spread to others.......

if its determined that u kena aids due to sex, they will charge u....go DB then discharge u....that's the SOP
if its due to unfortunate blood contamination then just discharge.

Attended a SAF Court Martial few years ago & saw a guy from Johova Witness (don't know right spelling or not) got charge for do't wanna serve NS, even as clerk or storeman. He was sentence 6 mths DB & after that still need to serve NS. The DB days are not considered as NS days.

The SAF should have the death sentence for soldiers who have HIV, they do not deserve pity, die better.

if you get AIDS , getting charged wouldn't be a big matter . you'll be seeing things from a dying man's perpective

I agree with some of the bros that the SAF wil dsicharge those found HIV.

do u think our SAF will want to foot the medical bills of these patients meh... they would rather distance themselves from them as far as possible...
