What has LKY saga taught us?
For me, it teaches me, once a person dislike you, he will go all out against you even reasons has no room for it.

Re: What has LKY saga taught us?
It teaches us how the elite twist and turn their words. Especially they met their own match in his own siblings. If it is layman like us, we would be facing defamation suit. See how unfair the world is.

The world is never fair. Its the voices for the rich.

Re: What has LKY saga taught us?
We do not have a objective leader after LHL. The rest are all apple polisher. All looking after their own ass.

Re: What has LKY saga taught us?
It taught me the very basic nature of all human. They are selfish and will do everything to protect their own interest. :p

Re: What has LKY saga taught us?
If siblings want to fight over a will they can do so privately, no need use facebook to show off their problems unless of course they have hidden agenda. For me while LKY build Singapore to the greatest height their children are busy tarnishing not only his image but also the country's image. For me they are absolutely shameless and this could possibly lead to PAP great lost in the next GE. This is the worst sibling feud among the rich and powerful I have seen in my entire life.

Re: What has LKY saga taught us?
讲到金钱与名利,有些人手足亲情都可以不顾,出卖身边的人;) People can betray their own family or siblings bcos of wealth & fame! 现今社会亲情值何价? 几乎每个人都利益当前。不得不承认这是个金钱挂帅的社会。人情越来越淡薄了。;)
I juz feel sad for Mr LKY!:( 照理讲家丑不可外扬!;) |
Re: What has LKY saga taught us?
Just my 2 cents worth of views here
What is a will for? This will be my first ques... Dun they have any more respect for LKY? What have Singapore become after winning the last GE? Why are still so many people supporting the PAP after so many prob? What will Singapore become in the next 5 years? Karma a bitch... u never know when it will hit u back |
Re: What has LKY saga taught us?
There is no such things forever .
LKY die ,country luck follow down . Singapore is sinking ,nothings forever you rich too . just like Chinese says ,rich never go through three generation . Face the fact ,our country will never die ,but not as good like before . PAP cant handle so good like before ,opposition for sure cant handle the whole country operation too ,no money to do . all our country money at tamasek and GIC ,but keep losing lot of money by ho ching . but remember ,world is big .you could go anyway in this planet .;) in facebook do postings , behave like a kid . |
Re: What has LKY saga taught us?
As usual,it all boils down to $$$$$$$$$$$ and in the process, the former PM Lee Kuan Yew's name is tarnished, when dirty linens are washed in public. What a shame, when Lee Hsien Yang and his wife, who are from a prominent family, choose to leave Singapore, citing excuses such as closely monitored and hugely unwelcome, while the poor, elderly Singaporeans are collecting card-boards and wiping tables at hawkers corner for a living. The world is enough for everyone's need but not everyone's greed..quote M.Ghandi.

Re: What has LKY saga taught us?
the young will continue to vote for PAP even though they know jolly well they are screwing with the future generations.
by moving majority of young families to sengkang and punggol then opening up prime estates in the CBD to private developers once PSA vacates to tuas south is a clear example that this country is GDP centric. in short, the govt does not care about basic issues like social security net or depleting the natural reserves or CPF especially when they can just import more ppl into sg and hope these high income personal pay more taxes to cover for high expenditures by govt agencies or capital losses incurred by GIC over the years to come. anyone who works in the public sector for budget forecasting, knows that the spreadsheet is a joke and senior management will have endless debate in order to acquire more budget to be allocated. worst of all, some of these accountants are not even accounts trained. |
