KL Beach club attack

Was at the Beach Club in KL last night when 3 guys in a car drove up on the curb and jumped out. One had a machete and started swinging at the cash register by the door and at the tables in the front. Girls all ran to the back door (we thought it was a raid) and cleared out of the place. We all quickly followed... No club security seen for first 5 minutes... Anyone heard of additional details??? Guys looked Indian and fellow punter speculated it was "mafia" related...

Four held after high-speed chase
07 Feb 2007

KUALA LUMPUR: A routine police check on a crowd disturbance complaint turned into a chase through the heart of the city on Monday night.

The chase involved policemen from Sentul, Cheras and Dang Wangi who were after four men in a yellow Mitsubishi Storm. The suspects were also seen throwing parangs out of their vehicle.

The four, between the ages of 25 and 30, were caught on the flyover at Jalan Tun Razak near the Kuala Lumpur Hospital when three police patrol cars intercepted the 4WD vehicle.

Police found 18 credit cards, a parang, two Indian passports and RM10,000 from the suspects’ vehicle.

It is learnt that the four suspects are also being sought by Rawang police for a rioting incident last year.

Dang Wangi police chief ACP Mohamad Zulkarnain Abdul Rahman said the drama unfolded at 11.40pm when a group of men, believed to be drunk, tried to enter the Beach Club discotheque in Jalan P. Ramlee.

The bouncers, seeing the condition of the five men, declined to allow them into the premises.

A scuffle broke out and it is understood that one of the suspects suffered head injuries while struggling with the bouncer.

Seeing one of their friends injured, the other four fled from the scene, leaving their friend behind.

The pub management informed police and the suspects’ vehicle was spotted five minutes later in the vicinity but the driver did not stop when ordered to do so by policemen in a patrol car.

The patrol car called for back-up and it was soon joined by two more cars which chased the Mitsubishi Storm from Jalan P. Ramlee to Jalan Tun Razak.

Mohamad Zulkarnain commended the CID officers and personnel for their prompt response to the report and for nabbing the suspects.

Police believe this group could be responsible for several wayside robberies in the Klang Valley.

"We are checking their background. We are also trying to find out the origin of the credit cards and the Indian passports," Mohamad Zulkarnain said.

Police also found the two parangs which the suspects had thrown out of their vehicle during the chase.

The suspects have been remanded for a week to assist in the investigations.

Indians are the ones that are getting the least in assistance from the government. They are the community with high school dropout rates, unemployment, drinking problems, poverty, crime, etc.

It is a growing social problem. But it is our problem, i.e. Malaysians. If you are truly Malaysian you wouldn't be saying such things.

Heard what those politicians have been saying? Such as "You boleh balik Tongsan"? I won't be surprised some think just like you. Today you might say it to the criminals, next it would be some other group that is deemed undesirable.

Well said Bro Dathinman, if I may add: [eventhough, Bro Shiok1968 had aptly pointed out that this was supposed to be a sex-forum, no offense intended]

Those ah-neh's are now apparently the lowest level in our society's strata..they couldnot progress in studies, high on alchohol addiction [an escapism for many of them to escape form the reality of life] and high unemployment too. Many bosses that I know are not too keen to hire them based on a racial prejudice and stereotyping that 9 out 10 ah neh's will resort to crimes from the less extreme in pilfering to greatest extreme in collaborating or even participating in armed robberies / bulgaries on warehouses and offices belonging to their bosses! Many bosses shun them and thus, they get no job opportunities...and find it hard to fit into our social fabric.

Well, the Chinese had their hard times long long time ago...many were branded as "communists", "Maoists" or secret society members [sub-bart-jai],but the Chinese had progressed well and fast....what had those ah-neh's comunity leaders and politicians done?? Raise tolls??

Just my 2 bahts' worth ...but I still like neh-neh, especially 36C ones:D
