for example u was feeling horny n decided to go find prostitutes for sex at the cathouses. while walking along the lorongs, have u ever met someone u knew? eg. boss, colleague, relative, friend, father, brother etc...

so do u take precautions to avoid such things? eg. wear a cap or sunglasses, coz if the person u knew saw u in this part of geylang, he might go tell ur parents or wife/girlfriend n it might spoil things.

anyway do u also feel fear of meeting people u know in geylang?

i believe everyone here have this thinking, what if i go here, people see me, the next day, the news will spread. this extended to hc, tn centre as well. i do feel the same. but if you are scare and afraid, what for you want to go. if you dare to go, then dare to face it. nothing to be afraid of. think you better afraid of getting std or anti-vice around that area for having direct implication.

U can never stop/control the gossip, and also the after effect if any, why bother. Also take it that U did not see them unless forced to greet them. Just enjoy yourself lah, that is the intent of your visit.

I am actually not afraid being seen in GL, what i am most afraid of is when i am waiting inside a cat40 or cat150 hse, someone u knew actually walk in.

Best if possible to go with someone.That way, you can come up with more excuses(having supper together, just walking around to explore, meeting other friends, esp if the other friend can pretend if he's staying there)

The part abt being caught while in the Cat40 or Cat 150 house...say wait for friend loh.

But don`t worry too much lah, if you see some1 u know, he's probably there for same reason as you.
