Is it a crime to engage FL in sg?

Singapore has licensed brothels and a Women’s Charter that makes it legal for women to prostitute themselves.
The government works around this by:
- Restricting brothel licenses
- punishing anyone who profits from prostitution (OKT, runner, advertiser, store owner)
- punishing anyone who lets their premises turn into an illegal brothel - this definition applies to hand jobs, and the reason why most massage establishments dun offer full service is that it’s harder to hide condoms during an AV raid.
It’s not a crime to engage FLs, it’s a crime where you fuck them, and the AV is more interesting in prostitution rings than Tan Ah Kow.
So if you are a female Singaporean citizen and arrange your own encounters, and book hotel rooms, that’s within the law. I know local FLs at a fuck joint who just walked out after an AV Raid - the AV were after the illegal brothel owner.
A foreign national on a specific work pass (spa or entertainment work pass) if caught doing FL, has contravened their work permit conditions and get deported for this, not prostitution.
A foreign FL in Singapore on a holiday visa will be deported if they are caught, for violating their visa terms, not prostitution.
Note: a domestic worker who does house cleaning as a side gig, if caught, will be deported for violating their work pass conditions.
