Talking Guide: where/how to pick up local thai girls

Bros, after interacting with many of you over the past several months,
i come to realise there are a lot of misconceptions about picking up locals.
I happen to have some free time, so i'm gonna write a little guide...

ps. YMMV, everyone has a different opinion / employs different methods. Some people like to play the long game... while i simply prefer the most efficient/quickest way.

Many bros will go to local clubs like Upper House, GOT, Salone, etc.
Some even get lucky at places like Chow Bar (fingers crossed you nvr kena ladyboy)

But, if you ever go into any of these clubs at 9pm, you'll realise
the 'local clubs' are full of girls in pairs, standing around with 1 bottle of drink on the table.
What you don't know is the local clubs hire these fairly good looking
girls / 'influencers' to post stories / hype up the club - with the sole intention of luring wealthy foreign men like you...

Chances of dabao is nearly 0 unless your fishing game / bullshit game is really strong...

So, anyway, if you really want to pick up local girls
(who have never worked nightlife / freelance / sideline etc)
here're some ways to go about doing it:

Some things i presume you would already know if your plan is to pick up girls without paying:

1. You have a strong bullshit game
2. You have good conversational skills
3. You know how to lead
4. You simply don't know where to look / how to get started

Without further ado, here's my guide

1. Universities. Chula, Thammasat, Kesetsart... Look around those areas.
Search for cafes, hangout spots on tiktok... Now go to those areas.

Don't be a lurker. Look natural. You're a tourist. Ask for directions, ask for guidance
Thai people are naturally friendly and willing to help if you are sincere enough

Feel free to ask about school life / anything under the sun.
Students from the top 3 universities are generally really fluent in English and
do not mind getting some english practice with a friendly foreigner

Offer your thanks (either buy them a drink, a meal, anything)
Bid farewell, but not before getting their social media contact (IG, LINE)

Ask them for the best/their favourite drinking places in bangkok. See if they're available and wanna have a good time together...
Congratulations - you've secured a date.

How to go from there, all depends on the individual. I'm just here to help you get started

2. Offices. Silom / Rama 9... same SOP as the uni girls, find a hangout spot
for the young OL after office hours. (TikTok/IG are your best friends)

Casual conversation, just ask for directions / help..
you introduce yourself as someone who came to bangkok alone for a business meeting,
with no clue on what to do / where to go during your free time...
Eventually somebody is going to offer to be your guide - provided you're paying.

Eventually one thing's gonna lead to another, and congratulations, you've got a date!

3. Bars/Clubs.

Seriously, this is the one most people get wrong. (the above 2, most don't even consider)
If you honestly think local thais earning 30k-50k baht a month will go hangout at clubs that cost 7k/bottle of hennessey... Imagine trying to find a local decent SG girl by going to Marquee, because yes, that is exactly what you're doing.
Chances are you're only going to find mostly gold diggers.
But, they are experienced and know how to show you a good time... (albeit a curated one)

So, where to go? Generally, you're going to have to travel - far.
Think Nonthaburi/Lat Phrao , Bangna/Srinakarindra, Bang Khae...

Basically, you're going to have to think like a local thai guy
- where would a local thai male go to pick up a thai girl?

Clubs in the area are:
1. Extremely cheap (sangsom at 800 - 1.2k baht per bottle)
2. Full of locals (You won't find a single foreigner there)

Now, you enter the club / bar. You're smurfing.
You're competing with locals that have less spending power than you

The only problem - you can't speak thai.
But actually, its not a problem at all - in fact, its encouraged.

I always tell people, turn it around and think for a moment:
If you meet a thai girl in SG that speaks fluent singlish - you smash or run?
Same principle.

So, you're there alone, or maybe with 1 other buddy who you convinced to go.
Where to go from there? How to start a conversation? Simple.
From the moment you enter the bar/club, take a quick look around to find
the table with only girls (group of 3-4)
Pick your seat / table next to them. Order whatever it is they are having (Chang Beer / Red Label / Jameson/ Regency... whatever)
Your job is to order way more than you can actually drink
(come on, ~1k per bottle/ 800 per Tower you can't afford to buy 1 extra?)

If you're at a bar, chances are your beer comes in 'promotional' package - 3 large bottles for 270 - 300 baht. Order 6 bottles.
You can't finish? Thats your chance to conveniently 'offer' your extra bottles to the next table
Come up with some excuse like 'oh we ordered too much because our local friend was supposed to come... but now he ditched us'
While you're at it, make some light conversation.. same bullshit story about
how you're now alone in bangkok, no idea how you ended up here in the middle of nowhere...
See if the girls are willing to accommodate you at their table.
Ask for guides, directions... In these places, there's always that 1 'famous' club that opens till 8am.

If you're at a club, slightly different SOP. Eye signals, friendly smile,
shine your flashlight at the group as they are taking a group photo...
do a silly dance... make them laugh / notice you...
Ask for shot glasses and put 100 baht tip on each glass... tip the waiters/waitresses...
offer the next table a couple of shots/tips... voila - you've secured 1st base.

Honestly, there're plenty of ways to get local girls. Most are fed up with local thai guys and would like a change of pace anyway.
They're easily impressed if you dedicate yourself to immersing in their culture / language
And easily contented with simple thoughtful actions - like opening a car door
(things that every SG girl takes for granted is nowhere to be found in thai and is usually considered 'princess treatment')

A little bit of 'princess treatment' goes a really long way in thailand...

If anyone disagrees with any of the above, feel free to comment below or debate with me. I'm just sharing my 2 cents.
If you feel this post helped you, feel free to UP my rep.
Don't ask me where the local hit cafes / hangout spots / bars / clubs are
- i'm not sharing unless you buy me a drink first haha. Those are trade secrets.

For reference, you can look up my past posts. I've travelled extensively all over Thailand for work in the past few years. I speak, read, write and type in thai fluently

TLDR: Hang around Universities, Business Districts, and local places away from central bangkok if you genuinely want to pick up a local thai girl.
(eg. easier to find a local girl in Jurong/Tampines vs Orchard Road)
