Usually cos when they are here, they are isolated from friends and family, it is actually comforting to have a guy that can hear her vent out. Maybe it can stir some feelings but that is about it.
She can't vent to her family for obvious reasons
Can't vent to her colleagues cos it may be bad blood and letting your colleagues know too much of your shit is never a good idea
and of cos, venting to OKT is a waste of time

For my case, I was giving her monthly support after she left Singapore. I stopped giving after I discovered that she was going out with a new China guy.
She was needing my money all along.
When there is no love, wl will see you cash cow.
Just milk till last possible drop...
So, don't give any cash when prc wl don't love you.
My lesson learnt.
