Sorry, can't really help, but whatever you tell her, make sure you can back it up. Else if she says she want to meet this person (e.g. insurance agent), you die! Also keep it simple.

By the way, can you be sure she did not copy down the number? If she did, and she calls the person to check your story...

As for that sms, told her that you have been getting weird text or calls lately. (Eg: xxx called for easy loans.) You are thinking to change number and waiting to see if it will improves over time. It might be due to phreaking or you accidentally answer some surveys on the phone that promised cash voucher.
