In my most humble opinion, ladies are emotional creatures. They rule by the heart. This is strange cause I know people in Tianjin (天津) if rich very rich, if poor very poor. This lady friend of yours is considered very rich, if her old man can have many transport means he have a lot of connection.

2) If she is really rich and her father intend to transfer business to her why she need to work as a production worker? A measly pay of SGD$1000 is nothing to the rich in China, worst is spending the money in Singapore.

3) I wonder what kind of education level she have? For a family that rich the level of studies should be a degree, if she has a degree y is she working in the factory?

4) I know times are hard in Singapore but with the current pay what can she do?

All these are doubts that I have, I have a friend who told me when he travel the GF (China) tend to travel too (Internal China). He does not know why but he put everything down to entertainment, 1 day A guy called to say he saw her in Shanghai with a guy in her arm. The best thing to do is to take the good advice of some of the good brothers here. Do well in your own career and life. If she ever comes back, you will be ready to sweep her away with your maturity and stability. If she doesn't, just take it as a lesson learnt. Painful this experience no doubt is but time heals. This I would not advise u cause to have a pay of 2k+ is not a lot trust me, I know not too bad already blar blar blar........ Before I came out of Singapore I also contented with 2k+ when I came China and fall in love then I know CPF cannot save me in China. So wake up my bro of mine see far and work harder..

Even I still test my GF to date, I never know but I test until I sian... But ok lah now not the need to test too much cause we really went thru all the pits...

yeah, i m a techician. not work 5 days a week.
i also know 2k+ is not enuf,
but if i compare the job load, too much,
almost everyday we went to slide card only.
no machine breakdown, do nothing. very free...
even m/c problem, sometime repair by operators themself.
only -ve is can not 'online' or go out during working hours.

salary, if i come 3 days for OT (1.5), i can get only ~2500++ after minus CPF
if double more....
