Very thankful. God gave me 2nd life. Thanks to all the bros on here who said nice things. Will focus on my life more now. No more hanky panky. And if you're wondering If I'll ever come back, not ever. But lesson learnt
Re: 20 seconds of pleasure and potentially a whole lifetime of problems
Okay. Just an update. Tested negative at 45 days after exposure and 2 weeks post pep. But my story is something that I feel should be shared cause it's something rather strange.
I had three separate HIV screening tests come back reactive. Both ones that I did after my 2nd exposure and 3rd after pep and window, which is extremely rare, but at the confirmatory tests which includes an HIV antibody differentiation test and a viral load (PCR) test were negative and undetectable. The lab noted the reactivity was likely due to non-specific immune response, not actual infection. I was reviewed by an infectious disease specialist who confirmed I’m HIV-negative. Despite multiple reactive screenings, my case is a rare example of persistent false positives, and follow-up testing is routine, not because of ongoing suspicion.
So for those bros who tested positive on self test kit or those free test at Kelantan road, please don't panic. High chances especially in Singapore, its a false positive. I even asked my doctors why am I constantly testing positive on the initial screening, they said my blood is quite rare and that it always lights up like a Christmas tree. This has caused me unnecessary stress, anxiety and depression for 2 months and wish this on no one. Lucky for me, if I go for early parenthood, can explain this to the doctors there about my situation rather than my wife accuse me of u know what.
So to all bros there, doesn't mean you wear protection you're entirely safe unless you happen to be like me 1 in 500 people to have this genetic makeup. If possible, abstain from sex. If cannot, check your condom 100% everytime and assess if you need to go for emergency pep if there was a compromise.
And to all the bros who tell me to focus more on my wifey, yes, this setback has waken the fuck up off me. Very thankful to the kind support and funny comments on here. Stay safe and always remember cap one. Raw is war. I repeat, RAW is WAR! Don't even think about it

Congrats bro for your good result. Take care and this serves as a good learning note for all the bros.
Also can you share what is the total damage for all your consultations and PEP medication? You visited public healthcare like hospital right?

Re: 20 seconds of pleasure and potentially a whole lifetime of problems
Sorry to be off topic but how old are u and your fiancee?
If both of u are in your 20s, how can you abstain sex for 1 year? In my 20s, I was fucking my gf daily or sometimes even twice a day. In my 30s, it was 3-5 times weekly and in my 40s, 2-3 times weekly. Even now when I'm almost 50, it is a weekly thing.
If u find monkey business outside, don't u think she is doing it too?

Wow! Wish I had a fraction of your stamina. When I was young in my 20-30s, I had the urge to do only once a week and even longer period. Guess work was stressful then. The only thing I'm blessed with is size.
