Any massage shop that the front door you cannot see through, most likely has special service. but these are mainly LT, not worth doing ST there, i tried before, horrible shower, horrible bed... door can hardly lock.

ST - octopus is the best, nice rooms and atmosphere. high price. a 2nd choice would be hallo kitty.

Just stick with Octopuss, girl quality and service never disappoint.
Hallo kitty is not a spa but a fk shop, girl quality is meh and the room condition is horrible.

I don think I ever heard such thing as foreigner tax in batam at the better establishment, and about local trying to overcharge you, this will happen in almost every country, just be smart.

Kampung bule still looks similar, quite a few new bars. No comment on how is the bar because we asian dont really go to kampung bule for drinks.

You can try Grand Dragon, this is a slightly better pub KTV. Or slightly average one like Morena. Both have pub area and ktv room, if solo just take the pub sofa/table, because there is min charge for ktv room. If money not an issue go ahead and take a ktv room.
