Thanks for your good wishes but there is only the here and the now and maybe a friendship in the future.

Some sacrifices have to be made for the next generation to hold on to the hope that the future will be fine.

As for me and her....I wish that she finds a good person who partners her and she experiences the joys of motherhood and life and that I will be there to cheer her on when that happens.

All the WL I have known have always told me not to break up the family.

It is a fine line between cowardice and action/inaction I sometimes doubt where I stand.

Dear Esteemed Members of this August Forum,

What is a year this is turning out to be. From 3 some at the start of year to buying my first substantive gift - co funded apple neo ($550) and then just moving on.

And now...

My days of cheonging seem to be coming to an end....

With my current (and maybe last sweety) it is clearly a matter of the heart.

The love and TLC I have not received through official channels in the last 20 years I am receiving in our August playground.

As a result I have ZERO desire to visit other houses or see other gal... I have after all seen much in 20 years.

We are also both adults and know what is possible and what is not. We do however wish that our friendship survives because each one of us needs a good friend.

So I cherish what the heavens have bestowed and pray that they bestow all the gifts of a peaceful mind and good life upon her.

The ocean of grief is upon me

In the dentist's chair today the memory of holding her hand gave me solace

In the same dentists chair the knowledge of her leaving let my tears run from each eye. I felt like telling the dentist the reason for the tears but I let it be.

As an experienced cheognster I could see this day approaching for see the signs I have before.

And now I will/will not see her for the last time tomorrow

My heart is heavy beyond measure

Guide me oh noble brothers of this august forum on the course of action to pursue

Tomorrow we will do nothing of the usual I think

Build that last remaining mid autumn festival paper lantern we will

Every day in this chair I have held my tears back

There will be no holding back tomorrow for the sweet love I cherished for this last few months will be no more.

I continued to support her when she go back China.
She getting money support from me yet having new boyfriend in China.
This I cannot accept and stopped the support.
This hurt me another time.
Losing total contact.
Hope no bro need to be hurted twice like me...

Family issue might the blocking stone.
But I also learnt from this episode.
Morale of the story,
When your prc wl don't love you at all, don't bother to try. No use one.

When there is some love from your wl, things will be much better.
At least, wouldn't take your cash and look for another man.

This year I withdrew from the PRC scene after 19 years and stopped reading most threads. In any case, the sharing with the bro's here which brought much joy and camaraderie also caused much grief and pain.

How strange is life that one has a wife who is good in 9/10 things and totally zero in the one thing which is central to my being.

May I channel the impending grief into taking care of my health, may I derive solace from the buddhist scriptures which teach about impermanence and the futility of clinging and craving for things.

Hiaz, I was married before, but over time, the marriage reached a point where my ex-wife and I became worse than roommates. We barely talked, and I even dreaded going home.

Eventually, I decided it was best to call it quits for the sake of both of us. Sometimes, letting go is better than staying in a marriage where both people are no longer happy.

While i m single, i met many ladies, but no 1 able to open my door. I used my hand or visit GL as and when i felt i need.

Sometimes, life is si strange. Expect the unexpected. I always thought i might be either single all the way or just meet another soulmate elsewhere.
