I saw this place on instagram (https://www.instagram.com/paikanyai_th/). Has anyone been to this place? If so, what was your experience?

I actually enjoy following them on IG. They post cute girls in various little skits, which is entertaining. I've never been there, but it feels like a hostess bar / restaurant. I am not sure if there is a spa / massage aspect to the shop. I would like to hear if anyone has first hand experience there.

place is ok, gals are pretty, sit with you for 10 drinks per hour (each drink i think 120baht, not sure if gone up price). they will sit with you, entertain and play with you, but nothing too wild, and can't bring back

@MrAte really appreciate the insight. Not really into just hanging with a girl and drink (esp since I don't drink). I was hoping they had a "massage" aspect to the shop, or able to barfine the girl out.

I am sure if you offer enough, the girl will give you extra, but not worth the trouble. Thanks again.

There is ZERO massage and barfine aspects. an apt description is that it is like a budget Gentlemen Club where you can enjoy live band performance and on some days of the week, themed sexy show and dancers by just ordering one jug of beer (approximately 300 to 400 baht with bucket of ice). Unless you have some kind of long-term rapport with the girls by being regular patron, your offer would most likely to be rejected. the girl sitting time is charged by 1200 baht per hour.

the outlet used to be visited by mostly Thai clientele before COVID but after big surge of popularity in recent years, they have moved to their current bigger location and half of their clientele comprises Singaporean, Malaysians, Ah Tiong and Koreans and probably a small percentages of other Southeast/East Asians. Very rare to see white people for obvious reason. On some weekends, you can sometimes encounter a group of Koreans live-streaming in front of the stage with some girls pre-arranged by the shop to dance and flirt with the livestream audience.

the outlet that most people see online is the PRASERT-MANUKICH outlet but they recently opened another outlet at RATCHAPRUEK (relatively obscure)

Bit out of town.

Like others mentioned its like a rural Gclub. Looks like a big shed. Plenty of girls to choose from and some are decent but cant expect too much considering the cost price.

They sit, drink and play games with you in a big open space. The old one had private karaoke rooms, not even sure they have in the new premises.

No house sanctioned barfine but I guess could happen on a private deal after close. No massage room for sure.

Its one of those Thai-focused clubs but exploded in popularity with the foreigners as the prices are more affordable. Girls are pretty but most speak Thai-only. I have seen the occasional hanky panky allowed for regular customers. But more remarkable to me is the food quality there is actually decent.

Saw their FB ever posted Korean customers bought 100s of Lds end up the bill was like few hundred K.

budget in comparison to other Gclubs. and do you know the difference between voluntary and mandatory ? you never been to SiamDu where SOME customers buy thousand of thousand of flowers/banners for the girls ?

the summary from your comment, is that you are extremely clueless and ignorant about this aspect of the nightlife culture and been going around trolling based on very pathetic lack of knowledge. bottomline, the women that you think your "game" pick up in the normal clubs have zero to minimal appeal to Thais and East Asians and are considered rejects and leftovers. do you know even know what forum are you in ?

He isn't wrong. Paikanyai is mainly for the curious and those who play the long game. Those visit Bangkok 2-3 times a year aren't suitable for them, those that aim for tarbao also not suitable for them. It's ideal for the long term players who can frequent there. If just to chill for a short 2-3 hours, fair enough. Anything longer and more, I rather hit up a more local place or a club, especially along Srinagarindara Road.

did you or I read the same post ? how can he be not wrong when his comment basically belittle the entire aspect of cheong culture in this part of the world ? if you know your stuff, you won;t be there to tarbao because you are wasting your time and nobody in this post and comment ever ask anyone to go there to tarbao. you sounded like veteran but still sound like you are one of those ignorant white casting stupid judgement on an aspect of nightlife culture that they don;t understand.

seriously, whatever "game" he claimed he has and you seem to think he has or you also think you have, how does your game result in having girls with the quality in Gclubs sitting with you for hours to "entertain" you ? I am not regular patron of such places because they don't suit my style of cheong but I won't be so arrogant as to completely denigrate this essential part of Asian nightlife culture.

whatever local club and places you hit on in Srinagarindara Road will have places working on similar concept because this is part and parcel of nightlife culture in Thailand and East Asia and as a veteran, you should know that. if your problem with the place is because it is becoming too internationalised and exposed and not Thai enough, I can relate to that but on most nights, Thai still make up the majority of the patrons.

I quoted wrong post actually, but it's of little matter. In nightlife, both men and women are each other's game.

I was just adding on the fact that local joints like Paikanyai or most around Town in Town, will not be fun for anyone looking to tarbao and coming just 2-3 times per year. Just to chill, feel the local vibes and ambience for a few hours is alright. They watched the social media about such places and most have the wrong sort of expectations.
