Re: Sunday Times - 07/11/04
Bro, as you mentioned her shop is already closed... why do you still want to know if anyone of us has been massaged by her??? You can still get her if we comment that her massage is good???

Re: Sunday Times - 07/11/04
I quote from STI
http://straitstimes.asia1.com.sg/sub...64740,00.html? I've no sugar daddy MS XIAO QING, 35, left the city of Qingdao in March 2001 with her daughter, then six. The divorcee, who is pictured on the cover of LifeStyle, was in the silk export business in China. She ran three massage parlours in Bedok and International Plaza with a Singaporean partner, but sold off her business after the Government prohibited study mothers from being masseuses. She now writes for a hobby. In September last year, she published a Chinese book titled Where Will The Road Lead? It is based on the true stories of study mothers here. She has a Singaporean boyfriend, a 44-year-old businessman who is a divorcee.'My boyfriend is remarkable. He doesn't mind my past. It's a miracle that he can accept me, a woman from China. Chinese women are rather complicated. Some are only after the man's money. His perceptions of Chinese women have now changed because of me. I know some people will say he's my sugar daddy. The point is, I don't live off him. I don't need to. I have my own properties in China. A lot of people from China are very rich, you know. My past relationships were not too stable. I made mistakes. Now, I've grown up and I'm not wilful anymore. When my daughter and I came here, we had to share a room in Balestier with another mother and daughter from China. There were altogether 10 of us living in the flat. The agent charged us $380 a month. We moved after 25 days. We now live in a rented condominium apartment in Marine Parade. It costs $1,300 a month but we have the whole house to ourselves. My first job here was as a beautician. The basic salary was $1,200 a month. I'd get $1 for every facial but I quit after two or three days. The pay was too low. I decided to become a masseuse. My boss and I split the earnings and I could work flexible hours. I took home about $3,000 a month. That's where I met my boyfriend. He was my customer. He was amazed that I could talk to him about literature and stuff like that. I started my own massage business after a year. I stopped serving customers, but my boyfriend would always joke and say: 'In that one year, you must have touched the bodies of at least a few thousand men.' It's true that it's very easy to go astray in this business. You've got to have a very strong sense of self control and be able to discern right from wrong. There are study mothers in this line who stay above-board, but there are also some black sheep. I've seen them steal, cheat and back-stab each other. You can't afford to offend some study mothers. There are also study mothers who get involved with married men for their money. I could not tolerate that. Whatever you do, you shouldn't destroy other people's marriages. That's why I understand why some Singaporeans are angry with study mothers. I wrote the book to serve as a warning to my compatriots. My intention was not to wash dirty linen in public. But all my study mother friends were upset with me. They boycotted me and my book. As for the Huang Na tragedy, I know of some study mothers who let their children run wild too. They're like yehaizi (wild children). What's the point of taking extra precautions only after something unfortunate has happened? I don't regret coming to Singapore. It was here that I found the life I truly wanted to have. If I were still in China, I don't think I could become a writer. My boyfriend is very supportive. To encourage me, he gives me $50 for every article I write for magazines and the Chinese papers. The monetary reward is just a token gesture. It's the thought behind it that touches me. I don't know if we'll get married. I don't want him to think I'm marrying him just for the PR or citizenship status. I don't know if I'll stay in Singapore in future. It depends on many factors. But right now, I'm happy to be leading a quiet and simple life.'

Re: Sunday Times - 07/11/04
Jaxz, I am truly impressed by yr quick thinking to post this article to find out more on this study mama. Like u, I find it disgusting that someone like her whom, has opened a few TNs dares to act innocent and talks like she is different from the rest.
Bull shit?! Pardon me, how can anyone be so naive to believe what she says? Full of crabs! Who knows the next moment someone from GL might appear and claim she is clean and wants to become a writer as well just because she is in GL before and have seen many things! We should expose theirs lies to the best we can, in my opinion. Don't let them think that the locals are naive cos we can think logically and analyse well. Well Done my friend! Quote:

Re: Sunday Times - 07/11/04
IMO, Bro Jaxz's purpose in post this thread is to find out whether Xiao Qing offer special services to many samsters here, since this forum is about masseues offering services .
Well, there are many of us visiting International Plaza.. we would surely write FR on those shops in IP if they offer specials . If there arent , that means dont have, lah.. To 123456abcdef, not all TN shops offer specials. Some set up TN shops just to provide decent massaging services. |
