Need some experienced bros to comment/advise.

My brother (younger than 30 YO) went to geylang and met this legal PRC WL some 1 year back. Same old story, they like each other very much, always meet up after her work at night 3 times a week etc.

She also nv demand many things from him, iphone and etc here and there occasionally, of cos go out is he spend money la, but every month he spend roughly average $1k on her la which i think is not alot? considering other pple probably can/will pay more.

Then now she going back already. She say if he go china and marry her or some shit within 6 months she will wait for him then they live together happily ever after.

The thing is this pcb come and confide in me. So I dunno what to do cos our parents how? firstly of cos i try to change his mind already, but he quite set on this. so i told him to keep a clear mind first and think before any rash act. He also agree.

Any brothers know of anyone else's experience like this also?

I mean assuming, really assuming she truely likes him la, i mean PRC no true love one la max love is 50-80% not 100%. Cos i see the way they behave after he tell me i also think ok la seem like not bad la the way she treat him.
So put away her ulterior motives first, is there any possbile way for this to work? cos she cant come back singapore after she go china right?

i felt that as an outsider and we do not know his gf's character and background, its really very difficult to judge. Anyway, its always good to convert a whore to a wife... rather than turning your wife into a whore..

So, personally, i felt that, as long as you did a thorough background check and he knows her friends, i think its pretty fine to give it a try

but like bro goodpartner say, i am his elder brother. now i already involved, i cannot possibly not give some comments already. and ya bro goodpartner you are right, whatever i say might be quite life changing for him, so i will think carefully also before speaking to him.

my concern here is that:

1. he want to be happy with the girl, i dun give a fuck. but my parents will ask why the fuck he go china, if he marry the girl, why the girl cannot come sg and live? how to answer that? so is there anyway to bypass her past record and allow her to come sg and marry my brother? i mean surely the whole of geylang so many girls so many years got some pple get married with PRC WL before? i dunno.

2. I am also not some innocent goodytwoshoe brother, i also got chiong geylang/massage parlours and watever, so if he like the girl, personally not for me to criticize, he can accept her past then good for him. i wun try to convince him not to go with her cos firstly, no way he will see my side of story. secondly if i do that -> we start quarreling -> he do something stupid like run away to china -> become my fault.

so ya lor is there anyway for her to come live in singapore? wat do CWO/pay money/i dunno wat la. isit even legal for them to marry singaporean?

on a sidenote @bro greatking: ya he really got meet her friends, not those other PRC WLs but real life friends dun ask me how i dunno but he say got. i also got see her before (we pretend i dunno what she does) she seems sincere enough. thats why i mentioned give her benefit of doubt first, cos if she cheat him, yes he heartbroken, but at least he wake up himself, lesson learnt. If i try to force them apart, he hate me + sure gg do something rash and wun even listen to me anymore. So okay, lets play the good guy here, I help exhaust all possible options, help to give you the best possible plan to try, if fail he will give up himself.
