Any good Acupucturist to recommend

Hi all, sry if it is not related to sex issue directly. any kind soul can recommend an acuputurist to me. Have a problem with my eye vision as there is some problem with my retina. Cant see properly especially in the dark and at night, used to visit a local TCM at Thong Chai at Chin Swee but very difficut to get appointment as she is very famous, she has made some improvement to my vision but of late am not getting any better. Am not looking for a cure but more to maintain and prevent deterioration , Thanks all for your kind understanding on this matter.

You're an idiot if you think TCM and acupuncture is going to help your vision.

Make an appointment with an eye specialist IMMEDIATELY.

If you have cataract, it's a 15 minute operation and your sight can be restored immediately.

If you have glaucoma, there are procedures to reduce ocular pressure to prevent further damage to the optic nerve.

If you have macular degeneration, your specialist will need to customise treatment based on his assessment of the situation.

You could go blind if you continue down the TCM route. They are nothing but quacks.

Am sorry for not makinh clear my intention and the conidtion of my eyes. From the way you described the various eye conditions, I assume you must be in the medical field or related. I had cataract done on both my eyes and seeing the eye specilaist at SNEC. their diagnois is that am suffering from retinis pigmentosa which does not have a cure at the mom. Hence the reason why I said am not looking for a cure (of course I will be happy if there is one but at moment there is no and hence am trying my best to slow down the deterioration via alternative treatment like TCM) Been seeing the eye specialist at SNEC for the past decade and all I get is just supplement and annual check up, that is why given current situation and looking for alternative treatment and seek your understanding and not to be slammed and be called an idiot.

TCM and western medicine can complement and though quite a number of doctors do not subscribe to sucg thinking, for me I have nothing to lose as previously I have difficulty in seeing in the dark but after a few sessions of acuputure, I manage to see but still not like any normal person. the one who did for me is no longer around and am just asking for some recommendations and rest is up to me.

Please so not play down TCM and think the western doctors are the best, as we are getting greater acceptance on the role of TCM to complement western medicine.

if you believe TCM can help you.. why not contact the
Singapore Chinese Physicians' Association (SCPA) directly?
they will be in a better position to recommend a chinese physician to you.

Make an appointment with a government eye specialist but take note for non emergency cases may have to wait 1 month plus .

Alternatively visit a private eye specialist but may be expensive .

To answer your enquiries , try ' zhong hua yi yuan ' , located at toa payoh central . Got tcm and acupuncture but because it is cheap and help mostly old and underpriviledged people , waiting time may be long sometimes 1 - 2 hrs so try arrive early . If not wrong , consultation is 3 dollars , same acupunture , medicine is 1 day 1 dollar .

Another place for cheap acupuncture is singapore buddhist free clinic , try google . This is another place for old and underpriviledged people , waiting time may be long sometimes 1 - 2 hrs so try arrive early . acupuncture is 1 day 1 dollar , acupuncture is 1 day 1 dollar .

Do make a small donation if u going to the 2 places for cheap acupunture so that they can help more people . The max u r allowed is 1 week 2 times acupunture at these 2 places , although sbfc got a few other places .

If u have more money or feel gung ho , can try the government hospital acupunture .
