hi bros... dunno where to post this issue but in the end decide to post it here.. cos recently i gt a call from police post saying someone lodging complaint against me for "harassment"? n after talking to the police, we arrange to meet sometime next wk for me to give my statement... hi bros any idea wad are the consequences after i give my statement?
i actually who is the one who lodged this complaint. its a female who say i harass her by smsing n call her? but den aft tinking again if this is serious the police will not have call me to give my statement instead they will straight away go to my house n arrest me right? n somemore can drage for few days then arrange to meet in police post for statement.. any idea wad will happen? this gal n i were colleagues once but due to some issues we quarreled. n recently i msg her n call her but she din ans n reply instead she report me to police. how? i kind of worried abt the consequences... n can't eat n sleep these few days... wil i get charged?

You got flood that gal calls or sms anot. if got hor maybe will be charge but i think at most only ka na FINE few hundreds to 1 thousands buck lor, UNLESS she hired lawyer trust me you gonna get in deep shit if she does that. If don't have at most warning or nothing 1 la no worry about that.

thanks for the reply. i did nt flood her call at all. only sms her.
few days ago i sms her tt i going to her house n she sms back saying if i go to her house she will call the police. then that day i sms again (i on the way to ur house) n later that afternoon, i receive a call from police post saying someone lodged a complaint against me n they nid me to go down for giving statement. the police officer say either i go down to police post or they go to my house. obviously i say i go down to police post. n the police officer arrange to meet me like 5 days later leh. i tot usually this kind of thing is go police post immediately one? how come can wait for 5 days? n the no tt i receive this call dun seem like police no leh

n prev we quarrelled b4 over some financial thing.. cos last time we were biz partner. thn aft we had some disputes, we quarrel n i left her. thn she say i owe her money. thn i gt sms her but nv flood her inbox la.. like that consider harassment meh? nv prank call. i only sms her. wil this thing get more serious? i'm really worried.. how? i dun tink she will engage lawyer la.. but this thing is suspicious yet worrying for me..

any more advice from the bros?

thn she say she use the sms that i sent her as evidence tt i harass her.. i din flood her inbox or prank call her.. how can these sms be evidence as harassment? n she oso used last yr sms as evidence tt i owed her money.. this gal is getting more mean n bitchy... damn it... gt involved wif police becos of her.. really worrying me man cos haven met the police for statement yet.. wil i get into any trouble based on the sms i sent her? n if let say she nv engage lawyer, wil i get charged? cos if she engage lawyer i would haf been arrestted by police that particular day n get detained. how come can wait few days then meet the police officer for statement?

I think flood also nothing wrong what.....those chatlines always flood me with sms also.....can say handphone spoil haha....bro you never send threatening smses or profanities I think should be ok la.....maybe the lawyers and policemen here would like to comment?

Don't have to worry , if u did not sms her those sex subject. If just for a money dispute or some other personnal quarrel , u don;t have to worry. It is only a civil case not a criminal case. Since there is a report to the police, the investigator will have to look into it. If u have done too much ,the most will be a warning.Don;t have to worry.!!!!!!! Cheers

Nothing to fear my frd....it a common SOP for this case. You will be asked for interview by police for report....as stated the fact to them and mention it should be a misunderstanding btwn u and her due to biz losses. But police might ask u your intention going to her house for what reasons with the sms given. Anyway, high chance u get sued by her from her lawyer lah, as police don bother biz losses btwn partnership, police only ops her to sue u in personal to get the losses. So u must have evidence to show them, it biz losses, and it not personal loan, rem that.

wad is profanities? i nv sms threatening things or vulgar things la.. but she lately provoked me n demand me to pay her the money owed n i quite angry n send her some sms but its nt vulgar..

but i rmb smsing her things like :" u r wolf in sheep clothing" " saturnist" "rude" " nt true christians" (cos she is a christian) "loanshark" etc cos i was very angry wif her.

then she claimed tt i owe her money cos she trans money to my bank acc b4. she say she gt the receipt that she trans me the money n the sms that i owe her money. these sms n receipts wil contribute to evidence as harassment ?

wil i get into trouble wif the smses i sent? i'm very worried ... regret to know this girl... but i stil find it wierd. gt a call from the police on thurs, n police arrange me to give my statement on tues.. y can wait til so many days then go police post? my logic is if this is serious or major crime, the police won't gv any warning n straight away arrest me right? if nt why can stil wait for 3-4days

Bro why don't you get a lawyer sort out all your business dealings with her. All the paperwork for your investment in your joint venture, I think if there is black and white to prove that the losess in your business is of equal blame to each party then you may not even need to pay back that "owed" sum of money. Just a damn sick idea, why not you sue her for harrasment too show the police the SMSs that she sent to you to claim back the money you owed her.

i owe her 2k plus... according to her... but i dun rmb owing her so much.. she is like a loanshark man.. n she say she gt bank trans receipts to prove she trans to my acc. n she scare me by saying she gt lawyer fren to gv her advice. how? i nt worried abt this part i'm more worried abt the harassment part.. how can these few sms be harassment? i dun even threaten her or scold vulgar in the sms.. jus some mild scolding cos she really provoke me.. i'm quite hot temper sometimes.. n i knwo guys when hot tempered wil scold but i alr restrict myself to not scolding vulgar in the sms if nt she wil make use of these to sue me.. but i guess its nt serious? thn u know she say she recently receive prank calls n emails from strangers n she accused me tt i prank her email acc n phone no.. aft hearing from some bros here i quite relieved... but stil worried.. sigh..

Police will not charged u for anything, so rem to inform them that it might be a misunderstanding btwn u and her, due to biz losses. Don act as personal loan as she might use it to inform them as cheating case if she have my brain ideas inside her, I can use it to sue or make u more hardup, think she is a xiao meimei to me lah. So don worry abt the police interview, just mention as I told u. She will not sued u lah, as it only 2k plus, it just a small claim. Just prove that it biz losses instead of personal loans.

Evidence to slove:
1st: Your intention for this SMS.
2nd: Misunderstanding due to Biz Losses.

thanks to the senior bro who gv me advice. she is nt xiao mei mei. she older than me. n she gt mention if i dun return her the "money" owed she wil take it as cheating case. so i scared she may seize this opportunity n tell the police i harass n cheat her money. but anyway if she willingly trans the money this can't consider cheating right? i nv use knife n threaten her to trans the money to my acc..

so i jus tell them its misunderstanding n my intention to go her hse is to clear some misunderstandding i had with her in the past.. as for some angry sms exchanges, i say she annoy n provoke me tt's y i on impulse sms the scoldings sms.. can? this things really making me very paranoid..

Yes, that it the correct way of explain it. As for the own of $$, u must think a way out to mention it biz losses or whatever, as long it not personal loan. Thanks. Police will not follow up more, they only doing a report to close the whole case. It that simple, the rest of the owning of $$, she has to use lawyer to use u, of coz, if she want to scam as cheating case, u will be invloved, and police will not carry on, the rest is her lawyer, so u must think of a way to slove yr misunderstanding abt the $$ issue.
