accommodation for fls
i am thinking of renting a place to live inside by myself, i had lived with my parents for so long already so now i want to move out and live independently by myself, gl is the obvious choice, good fuck, good food, good location, good "view" with so much activity going on there everyday.
here's the catch: renting a place in gl is not cheap. any bros got any bright ideas on how i can cover my rental? what is the typical accomodation of fls (they sure do not waste about $60 each day staying in budget hotels mah)? if i put 4 single beds in a bedroom (say 2 of those double-decker single beds) so that each bed space costs $10 per day will they want it? appreciate your input, thanks. |

Re: accommodation for fls
Bro,hope i ans to yr query.............i got a very close personal friend that did these b4 to PRC FL in geylang.............1st of all a 3 bedrooms condo rental is abt $1200 to $1300/mth and normally the PRC wun wan to slp on those double deck bed coz some of them r working in nite club at nite and sometime they came back with very high in liquors and u dun expect them to climb up to the upper deck and falls down........normally a std room u could oni put abt 2 to 3 gals inside and a master room to abt 4 and not to forgot u still have to occupy 1 room by yrself and the rental return is $10 to $15/per gal/day and the rate dun gurantee u that u will rent out the apartment on every single days in the month and at time you only with 1 or 2 gals occupied the area so yr rental for the month will hv to fork out mostly by u.They r also some ppl that rent those terrace house and they got more rooms and also the room are bigger so that u could put in more beds................bear in mind that on top of the monthly rental another expenses every month will be the PUB bills that easily cost u $150 and abv becoz mos of the time the gal will on the aircon............lastly a one year lease there u need to upfront with 1month advance rental and 1 month deposit and plus half a month commission to the agent as most the apt in the market are handle by agents unless u so lucky to deal with the owner so u will save on that......................but the advantages is u can have free bonk every now and then but after the free bonk the gal will kay siao kay siao dun need to pay u rental anymore coz to them they think that they r using their body to xchange for free accomodation......................so juz do yr circulation on yr own..........

Re: accommodation for fls
Few things to add on are :-
firstly I presume the lease will be under your name. Do read the tenancy agreement carefully as it will state things like every 3 months a/c maint to be borne by you ( the tenant in the contract ) Also, any minor repairs less that $100.00 will alsobe borne by you. Last but not least, the gals are here on social visit pass. If something were to go wrong, would u lose your rental unit ?? Just a view pointers to highligh bro. Hope it will be useful in your overall budgeting.

Re: accommodation for fls
i do not want to appear disrespectful, but some senior bros really think a world of them selves as seen from their words, at least i am trying to, and may eventually, do something because i believe action speaks louder than words, seniority aside...
i just joined for about a month, i had only a few postings because i spend time reading other bros' postings as i am still new and still finding my way... this thread just wants to explore the possibility of renting a place in gl to live in, and then renting out the spare space (in the form of single bed spaces) CHEAPLY to cover the rental of the place and not to make big bucks. consider the rental of a private apartment with 3 bedrooms will cost $1300 to $1500, plus utilities and maintenance total $1700 to $1900. and consider not all the available single bed spaces will be rented out all the time. i have to try and work out a seemingly feasible business model before i actually go about doing it. and if you have a friend whom you want to help find cheap temporary accommodation, i can help if there are still available space, etc. why not we bet to see how senior bros dare to stand to their words? if i eventually do it (after finding a seemingly feasible business model) each of the senior bro or bros who doubted me should each contribute $100 to the next tcss gathering. if i eventually do not do it (cannot find a seemingly feasible business model) then they will have nothing to lose. either case i do not win $ or lose $, just seeing if the senior bros here are really senior mentally. thanks to those who had already given their input, greatly appreciated, and hoping even more input and ideas will come in... |

Re: accommodation for fls
and just for all of us to gauge the credibility of this senior bro cim1101, do you know what he mean by me "consistently bugging" him for fl contact?
tell you make sure you do not laugh, i send him only 2 pm so far asking for fl contacts after reading the postings, one on 20 may (sharon) and another one on 24 may (ah yin). please take what he say with many pinches of salt, now that you know how credible he is. |
