Just came back from "shi quan", that place is packed with people today, a far cry compare to last night.

This place reminds me of good old Geylang. However, quality of gers is below average. According to my friends in KL, prices range from 80 -150. The funny thing is that prices start to drop as it approaches dawn.

China dolls on offer via MMS

GEORGE TOWN : In a move to evade constant raids by the authorities, sex syndicates here are offering China dolls to customers via the multimedia message service (MMS).

It was learnt that the message contains the image of a scantily clad China doll, her age, sex services menu, working hours and contact numbers of the pimps. The pictures are said to have been taken at a photo studio.

However, it was also learnt that only selected or frequent customers would receive such MMS from the syndicates.

Once a deal was struck between a potential customer and the pimp, sources said the women would be sent to a hotel to meet up with the customer, with each customer charged at least RM200 per session.

Sources said the syndicates resorted to using the MMS as they could no longer afford to lose their China dolls in raids carried out on budget hotels and entertainment outlets.

“They have spent thousands of ringgit to bring them here. This latest method will at least enable them to recover their investments,” said the sources.

A check with the police and the state Immigration Department showed at least six anti-vice raids were carried out over the past two months on hotels in Anson Road and Macalister Road, and entertainment and karaoke outlets in Pulau Tikus. Even gay joints were not spared.

A reader who received several of such MMSes said he was shocked when he saw the contents and the pictures.

“I dread what would happen if such MMSes are sent to teenagers and students,” said the man who declined to be named.

Penang deputy police chief Senior Asst Comm (I) Datuk Tun Hisan Tun Hamzah advised those who received such MMSes to lodge police reports.

“The culprit could be charged with distributing obscene materials under Section 292 of the Penal Code,” he said.

A Penang Commercial Crime Department spokesman said they had secured the MMSes.

“We are now tracing the senders of these messages,” he said.

By the time I reach GZ , he just manage to climb out of the lift, sweating from head to toe. Eventhough the 02 lifts are out of service but cheongsters are still willing to climb the stairs. Why?

PEMANDU, a government think tank led by Minister in Prime Minister’s Department Idris Jala tasked with formulating proposals to reduce the country’s government subsidy budget has recommended a petrol price hike of 15 sen for RON95 and 10 sen for diesel.

This is the petrol price hike schedule which we’ll be looking at, based on a crude oil forecast of US$73.06 per barrel in 2011 and the region of between US$79.41 to US$94.52 per barrel between 2013 and 2015.

■Current 2010 Price – RM1.80 per liter RON95
■Q3/Q4 2010 Price Hike – RM1.95 per liter RON95
■2011 Price Hike – RM2.16 per liter RON95 (broken into 2 hikes, once per 6 months)
■2012 Price Hike – RM2.20 per liter RON95
■2013 Price Hike – RM2.34 per liter RON95
■2014 Price Hike – RM2.52 per liter RON95
■2015 Price Hike – RM2.60 per liter RON95
These are just the proposed hikes for RON95. RON97 was not mentioned in the recommendations, which indicates that the government is further decreasing priority on RON97 subsidies. We could see a price of way over RM3 per liter for RON97 by 2015.

Not only that, the proposal recommends that the government renegotiate the PLUS toll concession contract this year and the LDP contract by 2013, then all toll concession agreements must proceed without any subsidies, resulting in a toll hike of between 10% to 67% depending on the highway, distance, etc from this year onwards.

For those dreaming of a future of driving electric cars, electricity tariffs are to be untouched for those using less than 200 kWh for this year. However gas prices are proposed to be increased by RM3/MMBTU every 6 months, which will translate to an electricity increased of 1.6 sen/kWh every 6 months. If we take the Nissan Leaf’s 24kWh battery as an example, that’s a RM0.38 hike per full charge for the Nissan Leaf every 6 months. LPG, which is priced at RM24.50 has been proposed to be hiked to RM27 with a 20% price increase every year.

The proposal also spells out a “mitigation plan” which involves giving cash rebates of 126 ringgit for owners of cars with engines smaller than 1,000cc in capacity, and 54 ringgit for owners of small motorcycles. My reference source doesn’t mention of this is one time, monthly, or yearly. There is also a proposal for a 20% discount on toll charges for frequent users and a cash rebate of RM20 for anyone with a Malaysian IC – not sure what this cash rebate is for but I’m assuming it’s for fuel?

According to PEMANDU this will save the government about 3 billion ringgit this year, 14 billion ringgit next year, 21 billion ringgit in 2012, 29.5 billion ringgit in 2013 and 35 billion ringgit in 2014. These plans are yet to be approved by the government.

The victim, 31-year-old Qi Wei, believed to be a prostitute, was found on a bed in one of the apartments raided by police during “Ops Dadu”.

It is believed that she was murdered 24 hours before her body was discovered in the locked room.

Police have detained two men, including the 67-year-old owner of the apartment and two women who were in the apartment at the time.

City deputy CID chief Asst Comm Khairi Ahrasa said there were strangulation marks on the neck of the victim, a Chinese national.

He said the police team from the Secret Societies, Gambling and Vice Division had raided several units in the apartment block at about 10.30pm on Tuesday.

After checking a unit on the third floor, they raided the unit on the seventh floor where the body was discovered.

“We found a man with two women, believed to be prostitutes in the first room,” he said, adding that the second room was locked.

The owner then opened the door for police who then discovered the body.

Used condoms were also found in the room.

I used to have a fren who can see poltergeist with his left eye. He always describe to me what he saw. As for myself , I have a few personal experience. One was I was still young got pinned down by a shadow and can hardly breath. Finally by scolding bad words, I manage to free myself. :eek:
